May 2019 Adoption List
Hello there Chickitteh fans! Since Facebook no longer allows our adoption posts, what better way to do it than with a blog? Make sure you subscribe for updates!
April brought us a bunch of new kittens, they are adorable! A couple of them have a bout of cat flu, but they are doing well and hopefully will have no lasting effects. Cat flu is extremely common among homeless cats. Most of the time it is a self-limiting disease, like our common cold, but very young or very old cats, as well as those with FIV, can succumb to it.
Still waiting for adoption are Hissyfit and Christmas.
Don't let his name fool you, Hissyfit is a very placid fellow. He likes to curl up on your feet and purr. He isn't a lap cat, but will happily sleep on your bed at night. And day. Basically all the time. And he will do anything for some cheese! He's also a fantastic kitty sitter. He is grey and white and approximately 6 months old.
Christmas is a big boofy tabby boy, very playful and loves to curl up in your lap, or on your head, or your bum, wherever he can be close to you! He is a lively boy, full of cheekiness. His adorable character is heightened by his amazing fluffy tail. He is approximately 7 months old.
If you are interested in either of these boys, drop us a line at animalguardiansaustralia@gmail.com. They are in foster care in Cootamundra, NSW. Costs for these boys will depend what stage their vet work is when they are adopted. They will be booked for desexing if not adopted, then costs will rise to cover this.
The other kittens will be available soon, once the cat flu symptoms clear up and initial vet checks completed.
